  1. About Pilates with Jesus

Pilates with Jesus is operated by Jasmine Straszynski, trading as Pilates with Jesus.

  1. Our sessions

Pilates with Jesus provides online and in-person sessions combining Pilates-based movement, stretching, Christian Scripture, reflection and prayer.

Our sessions are intended to support general wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical treatment, physiotherapy, counselling, mental health treatment or professional pastoral care.

  1. Bookings and payment

A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully completed and you receive a confirmation email.

Prices and session details will be displayed before checkout. Customers are responsible for checking the date, time, location and any equipment requirements before completing a booking.

Google Meet links and other joining information are for registered participants only and must not be shared publicly or with anyone who has not booked.

  1. Health and safety

By participating, you confirm that you feel well enough to take part and accept responsibility for exercising within your own abilities.

Please seek advice from a qualified medical professional before participating if you:

• Have an injury, illness or medical condition
• Are pregnant or have recently given birth
• Have recently undergone surgery
• Have been advised to restrict exercise
• Are unsure whether Pilates is suitable for you

You must stop exercising immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, unusual breathlessness or feel unwell. Where appropriate, contact a healthcare professional.

Participants are responsible for choosing a safe space, wearing suitable clothing and using appropriate equipment. Online participants must ensure that their exercise area is clear of hazards.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for personal injury caused by negligence.

  1. Online sessions

Customers are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and access to Google Meet.

Pilates with Jesus is not responsible for difficulties caused by a participant’s device, internet connection or home environment. Please contact Jazz if a technical problem with Pilates with Jesus prevents you from accessing the session.

Cameras may be switched on or off unless otherwise stated. Sessions must not be recorded, photographed, copied or shared without prior written permission.

  1. Cancellations and transfers

The cancellation and refund arrangements shown in our Refund Policy form part of these Terms & Conditions.

Unless a session is specifically described as non-refundable, customers should provide at least 24 hours’ notice to request a refund or transfer.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session are non-refundable, although the place may be transferred to another person by contacting Pilates with Jesus before the session.

Charity and fundraising events may have separate conditions and may be non-refundable. Any different conditions will be displayed clearly before purchase.

  1. Cancellations by Pilates with Jesus

If Pilates with Jesus cancels a paid session, customers will be offered:

• A full refund;
• A transfer to another available session; or
• Where appropriate, the option to leave the payment as a charity donation.

Pilates with Jesus may change an instructor, venue, platform or session content where reasonably necessary. Customers will be informed of any significant change.

  1. Conduct

Participants must behave respectfully towards Jazz and other members of the community.

Pilates with Jesus reserves the right to remove anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, disruptive or inappropriate. A refund may not be offered in these circumstances.

  1. Intellectual property

Session plans, written materials, recordings, images, meditations, branding and other content remain the property of Pilates with Jesus or the relevant copyright owner.

Materials are supplied for personal use only and must not be reproduced, sold, published or distributed without permission.

  1. Personal information

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  1. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated occasionally. The terms displayed at the time of booking will apply to that booking.

  1. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
